Total by Verizon is a no-contract wireless service that runs on Verizon's network. Every monthly service plan includes unlimited nationwide talk and text, with Unlimited data plans available as well. Is this device compatible with Verizon or Verizon prepaid plans?
No, Total by Verizon phones must be used with Total by Verizon service plans, they are not compatible with Verizon prepaid or postpaid plans or service.
Does this phone come with a SIM card or do I need to purchase an additional SIM card to activate?
This phone does come with a SIM card that is ready to activate. You do not need to buy a separate SIM card.

Is this phone unlocked?
No, this phone is locked to the Total by Verizon network and can only be activated with a compatible Total by Verizon service plan.
Can I use this phone outside of the United States (U.S.)?
This phone cannot be used outside of the United States unless you are using a Total by Verizon Wireless plan that includes international roaming.

Can I keep the same phone number when I activate my phone with this SIM kit?
Yes, you can keep your current number when activating your phone with this SIM kit by choosing that option during activation. You’ll need your account information from your current provider.
Will this work with my smartwatch, hotspot or other devices?
No, this Keep Your Own Phone SIM Kit is only compatible with cellular phones.
How do I activate my new service once I receive my SIM card?
You can activate on the Total by Verizon website or by calling 1-877-440-9758. Have your SIM card number, service plan PIN, and the phone you’d like to activate ready and follow the step-by-step instructions included in the SIM Kit you received.

How will my plan be delivered?
There are two options for how you can have your plan delivered.
- You can choose to receive your plan as a PIN through email, to start service at any time or give as a gift.
Or - You can enter your phone number at purchase and funds will be added to your existing mobile account.
Do I need a SIM card with this plan?
You’ll need a Total by Verizon compatible phone (which comes with a built-in SIM card) or Keep Your Own Phone SIM kit to activate your service. If you already have an active Total by Verizon phone, all you need to do is add this plan to your account by following the instructions on the card.

How can I get Disney+ through Total by Verizon?
With Total by Verizon, there are three (3) ways to get access to Disney+:
- Sign up for a Total by Verizon service plan that includes up to 6 months of Disney+ ($50, $85, $120 and $150 monthly plans). Note: You must remain on an eligible Total by Verizon plan to maintain the full 6-month promotional subscription. If you decide not to renew your eligible service plan during the 6-month promotional subscription or switch to an ineligible plan, your Disney+ promotional subscription will end on your Total by Verizon service end date (or the date you switch to the ineligible plan), and any remaining time in your Disney+ promotional subscription will be lost.
- Sign up for a Total by Verizon monthly service plan that includes Disney+ access for as long as you remain on that eligible service plan ($60 monthly plan). Note: You must remain on the eligible Total by Verizon monthly plan to maintain the promotional subscription. If you decide not to renew your eligible Total by Verizon service plan or switch to an ineligible plan, your Disney+ promotional subscription will end on your Total by Verizon service end date (or the date you switch to an ineligible plan).
- If your plan doesn't include a Disney+ promotional offer, you can add a Disney+ subscription to your existing Total by Verizon account and pay for it monthly at the then-current retail price through Total by Verizon.
